"Price by STL" widget for your website
How to embed on a maker's website a form where a visitor uploads an STL, sees an estimated price based on your rates and leaves a request.
The widget turns your website visitors into leads: they get a price estimate on their own.
How it works
- Open your workshop dashboard (the maker's profile).
- Find the widget block: it has the embed code and a preview.
- Paste the code into a page of your website. Only these pages can be embedded; the rest of the 3D Print Pricing site doesn't open in a frame.
- The visitor uploads an STL file, sees an estimated price calculated from your workshop's rates, and leaves a request.
- The request reaches you as a regular request from the workshop catalog, see Workshop catalog.
A "Powered by 3D Print Pricing" link is shown under the widget.
Frequently asked questions
Is the price exact? It is an estimate based on your rates. You confirm the exact cost to the client yourself.
Can I change the look? Change the size of the block on your site; the content of the form is set by the service.
If something goes wrong
The widget doesn't display: your website builder may block iframe code. A request didn't arrive: check your email and Telegram binding, as well as the status of your listing in the catalog.
