Slicer files: upload and plugin
How to fill in weight, time and material from a slicer file in the calculator, manually or with one button from PrusaSlicer, OrcaSlicer and Bambu Studio.
Don't type grams and hours by hand: the calculator can take them from a sliced file.
How it works
Uploading to the calculator. In the "Model" block, upload a .gcode or .3mf file (up to 50 MB). Weight and time are filled in, and if the printer and filament are in your catalog, those too. The file is attached to the order. For SLA in the app, use the "From slicer file" button.
Slicer plugin. In "Settings → Integrations", download the plugin for PrusaSlicer, OrcaSlicer or Bambu Studio. It sends the file to the server on its own using your access token and opens the calculator with the numbers ready. The token is created in the same place, see API tokens.
Demo without an account. On the public demo calculator page you can drag in a 3MF, G-code or STL: the numbers are filled in right in the browser, and the file is not uploaded anywhere. For STL, the weight is estimated from the volume and time is not calculated.
FAQ
Why were weight and time zeroed after uploading a 3MF? You exported the project without the slicing result. You need: File → Export → "Export plate sliced as 3MF" (Ctrl+Shift+E). If the file isn't recognized, it is attached as a model.
Is Cura supported? There's no Cura plugin yet, but you can upload G-code manually.
What about Chitubox and Lychee files? The .ctb, .cbddlp and .lys formats are not supported.
If something's wrong
The file is too large — the limit is 50 MB. The material wasn't matched — add the filament you need to the warehouse or enter the material manually. The file didn't attach — you may be out of space, see Storage quotas.
