Print history from printer data and AMS write-off

How the printer records every print on its own, how plan differs from actual, and how to write off filament based on AMS data.

This feature is available on the Web Plus plan for printers connected through Bambu Cloud, Anycubic Cloud or the monitoring agent.

How it works

Print history. The printer records every print on its own: start, end, duration, file and result (done, failed or cancelled). You can view it:

  • on the printer page, in the "Prints" tab: the last 20 prints and the real failure rate over 90 days;
  • on the order page, in the "Plan / actual" block: how many hours and grams were planned in the calculation and how many were actually used;
  • in "Analytics → Production", in the "Real failure rate by printer" block. If the real failure rate differs from the allowance in the calculator, you'll see a hint. A cancelled print also counts as a failure.

AMS slots and spools. When you link a slot, the site suggests a suitable spool by filament type and color. You can link all the suggested ones with a single button. Each printer has a "Deduct filament from printer data" switch (off by default). When it is on, after a successful print without an order, the AMS consumption is written off from the linked spools. A print made for an order writes off material per the order, so it isn't written off a second time. Anything written off can be put back with the "Return to stock" button.

FAQ

Which printers does it work for? Those connected through Bambu Cloud, Anycubic Cloud or the agent. Set it up in monitoring.

Why doesn't the failure rate from the data match the setting? The setting is the allowance you build into the price, while analytics shows the actual result.

If something goes wrong

No "Prints" tab: the printer isn't connected to monitoring, or your plan is below Web Plus. A spool was written off twice: check whether write-off by printer is enabled at the same time as write-off by order, and put the extra amount back with the "Return to stock" button.
