Filament inventory: spools, colors, stock

The filament warehouse lets the calculator know the price per gram and lets stock decrease automatically.

How it works

1. Open "Warehouse → Filaments" and click "New filament".
2. Choose a brand and filament type (PLA, PETG, ABS...) from the list; your own options are added under "Settings → Catalogs".
3. Enter the spool weight, spool price and number of spools. Weight and price must be greater than zero.
4. If needed, tick a modifier: "Multicolor", "Gradient", Dual, Triple or Quad Color, and add the number of colors you need (2 to 4 for a gradient).
5. Save. The tile shows the remaining stock in grams and the price per kg (calculated from the full purchased capacity).

Deduction. Material is deducted not when an order is created, but when the order first reaches the status "Printing", "Packing", "Delivery", "Done" or "Closed". When an order is cancelled or moved back to "Negotiation", the material is returned. You adjust stock manually with the "minus" button and a reason: defect, test print, damage, other. Stock can go negative; this is a warning, not a block.

Alerts. Below 100 g or 10% of capacity, a spool is highlighted as "low". To get a notification at your own threshold, set the "Low stock threshold" in the card.

If an order was changed after printing, will the warehouse recalculate? No. To recalculate, move the order to "Negotiation" and back: the previous deduction is returned and deducted again.

If something goes wrong

A spool won't save: check that the price and weight are greater than zero. The stock is "wrong": look at the "Batches" and "Stock movement" tabs in batches and movement.
