Selling from stock and selling a service

Three different ways to sell without a new calculation: a finished product, a standalone service, and an extra line inside an order.

Not every sale starts with printing. Pick the scenario that fits.

How it works

  1. Sell a finished product. "Warehouse → Finished goods" → the button on the card opens "Sell from stock": enter the quantity, price, client and a note, and tick "Paid" if you've received the money. An order is created and the stock level goes down.
  2. Sell a service on its own. In the "Orders" section, click "Sell a service": name, cost, price (required), client, notes, "Paid". This creates a new order with no material and no printer, and the warehouse is not touched. It suits modeling or post-processing of someone else's part.
  3. Add a service to an existing order. In the order card, click "Add service" (or use the breakdown block) — the line is included in the order total, but no new order is created.
  4. Sell a consumable or filament. Right from the item's card on the shelf: the cart icon, quantity and price.

In every case the result appears in "Orders" and is counted in analytics like a regular sale. If you don't specify a client, the order is created without a link to a client card.

FAQ

Do these sales count toward the Lite limit? No. Selling a finished product, a service, filament or packaging, as well as printing "for yourself", is not part of the 10 client orders.

A service can't be repeated with "Repeat order" — this is a limitation, see Repeat order.

If something's wrong

I can't see "Sell a service" — the button is in the orders list, not in the calculator. The sale didn't reduce the stock — you created a service, not a product sale.
