Shopee: connecting your own seller app
How to get Shopee Open Platform access, create a Seller In-house System app, paste the Partner ID and Partner Key and authorize your store: orders, fulfilment, stock, prices and finances (beta).
Shopee connects through your own app on the Shopee Open Platform. We are not a middleman: you create the app, get a Partner ID and Partner Key, paste them here and allow access to your store on the Shopee page. The connection is in "Beta".
Step 1. Developer account and app
- Register on the Shopee Open Platform as a developer of the Shopee Seller → Registered Business Seller type. In Brazil the "Individual Seller" option is closed: you need Brazilian business documents (CNPJ) and at least one order in the last 30 days. Review takes up to 3 business days.
- Create an app of the Seller In-house System type.
- Right after creation Shopee gives you a Test Partner ID and Test Key — they work in the sandbox only. To try them, choose the "Sandbox" environment here.
- For the live store click Go Live (review takes about 24 hours); once approved you get a Live Partner ID and Live Key.
Step 2. Configure the app
- In the app settings enter the Live Redirect URL Domain — the domain of our return address. The address is shown in the connection form ("Settings → Marketplaces → Connect → Shopee") with a Copy button; you need only its domain.
- Enable IP Address Whitelist and add the IP address shown in the Shopee connection dialog in 3D Print Pricing (the "IP for the Shopee whitelist" field; if it isn't there, ask support). Without it Shopee masks buyer data and may reject calls.
Step 3. Paste the keys and authorize the store
- In the connection form paste the Partner ID and Partner Key.
- Choose the store's country and the environment (live or sandbox).
- Click Authorize in Shopee.
- On the Shopee page sign in with the shop account (not the main account) and choose the authorization period — up to 365 days.
- You return to the dashboard and the connection appears in the list.
The token renews automatically: access lasts 4 hours, refresh lasts 30 days. After 365 days or after access is revoked, click Re-authorize on the connection card.
What works
- Orders, including the "waiting for NF-e" status.
- Partial cancellation of an order item.
- "Fulfil": arranging shipment — drop-off at a point, courier pickup, or your own carrier with a tracking number.
- Order cancellation with a reason.
- Stock and prices of products and variations.
- Finances per order: commission, fees, shipping.
What is not supported
- Uploading the NF-e and printing the label — do these in Seller Center.
Troubleshooting
- Shopee rejects the return to our address — check that the Redirect URL Domain is exactly the domain of the return address from the form.
- Buyer data is masked or calls are rejected — check the IP Address Whitelist (the address is in the connection dialog, otherwise ask support).
- Test keys do not work in the live environment and vice versa — pick the environment that matches the keys.
- The connection shows "Error" — click "Re-authorize".
