What lid types are there?

A sleeve lid slides over the box from the top. A snap-fit lid sits with a light interference and holds by itself. A sliding lid runs in dovetail grooves, with the box front wall lowered for it. Clearance is adjustable from 0.1 to 0.5 mm for your printer, and you can add a finger notch.

Where are the Gridfinity bins?

Gridfinity bins and baseplates now live in the separate Gridfinity Generator: a grid sized to your drawer, tiles split to fit your print bed, and bins for tools and batteries.

Can the lid text be another color?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Text can be engraved on any lid or embossed on the sliding lid. The “3MF · 2 colors” button puts the text into a separate part on filament 2, so a slicer with an AMS or a filament change prints it in another color.

Can I add dividers inside?

Accepted Answer

Yes, separately along width and depth — they split the box into equal compartments and print together with it, no supports.

How much does it cost to print the box?

Accepted Answer

Press “Estimate the cost”: the calculator opens with your model's weight, you only add print time and your prices. The weight is an estimate; your slicer gives the exact one.

Export formats?

Accepted Answer

Both STL and 3MF download as separate files for the box and the lid. The two parts share one project only in “3MF · 2 colors” (box and lid side by side, the text as a separate part on filament 2). Models are built right in your browser and are never uploaded.
